Sample Material: PVP
Polyvinyl Pyrrolidine is a water soluble polymer that is commonly used as a sacrificial polymer for spinning ceramic nanofibers. After serving as a carrier during the fiber formation process, it is burned off during calcination of the ceramic precursors. Ceramic nanofibers have enormous potential for catalytics, hot gas filtration, and some biomedical applications.

Forcespinning Technology utilizes centrifugal force rather than electrostatic force! Without electrostatic force, there is no need for dielectric solutions. This opens up an entire new realm of possibilities. Even metals and conductive polymers can be processed simply and safely.
